The Stallions franchise was established in 2016 when the program was purchased from the defunct Marion Bobcats. That same year the Henderson Flash joined the Ohio Valley League, making the league an eight team league comprised of: Owesboro RiverDawgs (Oilers), Fulton Railroaders, Hoptown Hoppers, Dubois County Bombers, Madisonville Miners, Paducah Chiefs, Henderson Flash, and the Muhlenberg County Stallions. Since 2016 the Franklin Duelers, Full County Rhythm, and the Louisville Jockets have joined the league to form an eleven team league.
